Get that Red Carpet Glow, 6 of the Best Face Masks

It’s no secret that we’re obsessed with beauty products, especially face masks. Beautiful skin takes a lot of effort and investment. Not only do you have to eat right, but you need to find the right products to help you target your skin concerns. We’re constantly on the look out for new launches and we’ll try anything that promises to keep spots and nasty wrinkles at bay.One of our favourite products are face masks. In fact, we’re mask connoisseurs here at InvisiBra. We believe that masks should be an integral part of your beauty routine and so do celebrities. Before red carpet events and TV appearances, you can be sure that they’ll all be slathering on a mask to prep their skin. We love the calm and relaxation we get from the 20 minutes a mask takes to work its magic. But more importantly, there’s nothing like a soothing, hydrating and plumping mask to give you that megawatt glow you so often see on celebrities working the red carpet. Below is a list of our favourite masks that have been tried and tested.

£60 for 6 masks
One of the most popular masks amongst celebrities, Cate Blanchett and Demi Moore are both fans. Developed in Japan, it contains a high concentration of Pitera, the star ingredient in SKII’s products. A bestseller from the brand, this mask will provide intense hydration, leaving your dehydrated skin refreshed and supple. If you’re lazy, then sheet masks are great as application is super easy. Just open the packet and slap it on and after you’re done, bin it, no washing required.Great to use when travelling or before special occasions.

Skinesis 3D Moisture Infusion Mask

£39 for 4 masks
This is my go to when my skin needs some serious TLC. This mask is made using bio cellulose nano science, so it’s 440 times finer than fabric masks, which means your skin absorbs more of the product. It’s literally dripping in serum which has hyaluronic acid and rosewater, so 20 minutes of this and you’ll notice your skin plumped, soothed and deeply hydrated. I had one of these on on the morning of my wedding, and it just made my skin glow.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

£44 (30ml)
We love Tata Harper’s natural products. This multi-functioning jelly like mask has pink clay to tackle enlarged pores; Beet extract to promote elasticity; White willow extract to exfoliate and Aloe to stimulate cell repair. Use it twice weekly for a radiance boost.

Glamglow Supermud

£40 (34g)
Glamglow is an award winning brand that specialises in mud masks. Supermud is their most advanced treatment for problem skin including breakouts, black and white heads, blemishes and even ingrown hair. A little goes a long way with this mask and you can even use it as a spot treatment. You’ll feel a tingly sensation as the mask works on your skin. Rinse after 5-20 minutes and you’ll find your skin smoother and clearer after just one use.

The Problem Solver by May Lindstorm

£72 (250ml)
This mask could be a sumptuous chocolate desert (it’s made with raw cacao), the heavenly scent makes it tempting enough to scoop it up and eat it. But don’t let it’s sweet smell fool you into thinking it’s anything but effective. It’s called “The Problem Solver” for a reason. This is a purifying mask  with bamboo charcoal and spices in it, which helps stimulate detox and clear clogged pores. It comes as a powder and you mix it with water to create a (chocolate) mousse. This comes as a huge pot, so don’t be discouraged by the price, it will last you a long long time.

Herbivore Blue Tansy AHA + BHA Resurfacing Clarity Mask

Blue Tansy is the ingredient of the moment (also found in Sunday Riley’s best selling Luna Sleeping Night Oil that we love). It’s a flower, though poisonous in it’s raw form, its rendered oil has amazing medicinal properties— antibacterial, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory. White willow bark decongests and unclogs pores; papaya and pineapple enzymes gently exfoliate and the blue tansy will reduce redness and sooth irritated skin.
